Why do we Make Art?
We make art because;
It fills us up, It empties us.
We are happy, We are sad.
It's hard and challenging, It’s easy and effortless.
It makes us think, It stops us thinking.
We make art because we want to;
Understand ourselves. Understand others.
Explore the world, Hide away.
Forget, Remember.
Disconnect, Connect.
Impress others, Impress ourselves.
Help others, Help ourselves.
Mostly, I think we make art because that's who we are - we’re people who make art.
