Reset Your Art
It is amazing how often a technology problem can be simply solved by turning off the device and turning it back on again. It’s about as in-depth as I can go with fixing a technological problem, and I’m relieved when that’s all it takes.
And that can also be applied in our art. ‘Give it fresh eyes’ is common advice - to walk away, even for ten minutes and you’ll be more likely to see what is missing.
Sometimes, to solve a problem, we merely need to press reset.
