ForM: The Artwork

Interconnected: Photography by Joe Fox

Form is by far my favourite group exhibition of the year to visit and I am honoured to have been one of artists involved in it this year.

It was set the picturesque Bangor Walled Garden with sculptures and art works tucked in beside flowers, herbs, ponds and trees, so everywhere you look your eyes are met with something interesting, provoking or just plain beautiful.

For the month of June, the garden was transformed into an outdoor art gallery showcasing 42 sculptures, some of which are impressively large, while others of smaller scale need to be discovered within the greenery - all cleverly positioned by curator and artist, Sharon Regan.

Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Arts Officer, Patricia Hamilton sums up the experience; 'This eclectic mix of sculptures, which come in all shapes and sizes, provide a unique garden experience with an added dimension. This is the largest ForM exhibition we have had since its inception in June 2012 and we are pleased that its reputation has grown throughout Ireland and the participating artists have reflected that.'

I was pleased to have shown new work, ‘Interconnected,’ a ceramic figurative sculpture which speaks about how we are all more connected than we know alongside so many other talented artists who include:

Please feel free to put a link in the comments for any artist’s websites I’ve missed and I’ll update it.

And tell me - which was your favourite piece?
